Amanda Salter grew up in a public service-oriented family – her mother is a teacher; her father serves in the Drug Enforcement Administration of the United States Government. Due to her father’s service, during her childhood she lived throughout the United States and South America. After graduating high school, she moved to Texas and hasn’t left! She cheered for Stephen F. Austin State University, where she helped the squad win a National Championship Title went on to represent the United States in cheerleading competitions. After graduating college, Amanda coached cheerleading and the Acrobatics and Tumbling team at Baylor University. Amanda had a desire to make a bigger impact on others’ lives and in her community which led her to an internship with the Dallas County District Attorney’s Office. She attended UNT Dallas College of Law, as well as University of Houston Law Center and graduated in 2019. Amanda began practicing law in the insurance defense realm, in state and federal courts, primarily focusing on discovery, depositions, motion practice, and trial prep. However, Amanda still had a desire to work closer with individuals and transitioned to family law in 2021. Amanda joined The Bihm Firm, PLLC in 2024, where she represents clients in Montgomery County, Texas, and the surrounding counties. Amanda lives in Spring, Texas, and has a spry puppy (who is 8 years old), named Kekoa, who is the unofficial Bihm Firm mascot. Amanda’s work ethic, talent, and skill make her an outstanding addition to The Bihm Firm, PLLC’s team.
