Andrew Gastler

Associate Attorney

I grew up in Clear Lake in southeast Houston. I went to Baylor University for my undergraduate degree. After starting a Master’s Degree at Baylor, I left the program to go to FSU for law school, working for the Leon County Public Defender in the process. After graduating early in 2013, I interned with the Innocence Project of Florida, looking through vast records of decades-old convictions to examine whether inmates were actually innocent. When I returned to Texas, I worked for State Counsel for Offenders for 4.5 years, representing men and women accused of committing felony offense while in prison, assisting prison inmates in postconviction habeas corpus review, and engaging in jury trials for men petitioning for post-release civil commitment in nine counties across Texas. In total, I have experience in jury trials in nine counties across Texas.

Afterward, I joined The Bihm Firm, PLLC, utilizing my courtroom experience to assist families in family law and criminal law litigation in Montgomery County and nearby counties. I live in Conroe with my beautiful wife Michelle and our three young daughters.
